Morgan Fayocavitz joined Waugh Grant as an Associate Attorney in June 2019. Her practice focuses on litigation, probate, estate planning, real estate, and local government law. She is the Assistant Town Attorney for Hilliard, Florida, and the Assistant Town Attorney for Pierson, Florida.
Morgan appreciates the wide diversity of her practice and the fact that every day holds something new and different. She especially enjoys working with and helping clients.
Morgan communicates thoughtfully with clients. She makes certain that they feel comfortable with all aspects of the legal work and fully understand the process. Her goal is to make everything as easy as possible for clients, since they often are in an unfamiliar situation. She stays in close contact with each client throughout the entire course of a matter to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
During law school, Morgan served in two positions that prepared her well for her responsibilities at Waugh Grant. First, she worked on all pre-trial aspects of litigation as a legal intern for a large personal injury law firm. Then, she served as a legal intern at Universal Studios Orlando, where she worked primarily on contracts and intellectual property agreements. Her experiences in both positions provided her with background directly relevant to her practice at Waugh Grant, which involves both litigation and transactional work.
The ability to develop strong relationships with clients in her law practice comes naturally to Morgan, in large part because of her undergraduate education. In college, she majored in psychology and behavioral forensics. Her studies helped her understand the importance of communication, different personality types, and why it is so important for people to feel comfortable in new circumstances.
While she was in college, Morgan worked at Fantasyland in Walt Disney World Resort for more than two years. Morgan’s responsibility was to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. She interacted with park guests on a daily basis. In that position, and in her internships for her major, she learned a lot about people and about customer satisfaction. Today, she draws on all those important experiences in providing exceptional service to clients in her law practice.
Morgan grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Florida to attend college in 2011. She fell in love with Central Florida and now calls it home. She lives in Kissimmee.
In her leisure time, Morgan plays tennis and visits the beach, Disney, and Universal. She also enjoys walking and hiking with her Miniature Dachshund, Marley. When she isn’t soaking up all the activities that Central Florida has to offer, Morgan enjoys traveling to see new places and experience new cultures.
